I had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Black Lion Cottage in Walsingham. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the local tourist destinations. The cottage itself was extremely well furnished and had a large open plan living space. The compact courtyard garden was a great spot to relax with a cold beer on warm evenings. The owner, Neil, was always available if we needed anything and it was lovely to chat with him over a cuppa. Having a car parking space by the side of the cottage was a huge bonus. I highly recommend this place for a memorable stay.
I did notice that the cleanliness could have been improved slightly, as my wife mentioned. Additionally, there were some minor maintenance issues like leaking plugs in the sinks and bath, an unlockable bathroom door, and a fridge in need of a workable icebox.

The property was modern and spacious. Nearby was a hotel where we were able to have breakfast and dinner. the food was very fresh and seasonal, and the staff exceptional. Neil the owner was proactive and extremely helpful. We will recommend to friends. the property was well-decorated and well-equipped. It had modern amenities but still retained its character. the location was quiet, but there was a lively and friendly pub just a 20-second walk away. the nearby Abbey ruins and gardens were a great find, and Walsingham itself is a pretty little place. the host, Neil, was welcoming, friendly, and went out of his way to make our visit a great one. As a budget traveler, this property offered excellent value for money.
Felt very comfortable, no complaints.

I had a fantastic stay at Black Lion Court in Wallsingham! The accommodation was beautifully appointed and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Plus, having the pub next door was a great bonus. I enjoyed a delicious birthday meal there and the atmosphere was lovely. Wallsingham itself is a charming village with a rich history, and it served as the perfect base for exploring nearby attractions like Pensthorpe Natural Park and Wells-next-the-sea. The high ceilings in the apartment added a touch of elegance, and the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Despite a few minor drawbacks like limited parking for larger vehicles and the need for a car, I would definitely recommend this lovely apartment.

The location of the cottage was excellent, situated in a quiet and historic center. It was easy to access all the local tourist destinations, such as Holkham and Wells. the cottage itself was well-furnished, with a large open-plan living space that felt spacious and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the compact courtyard garden, perfect for relaxing with a cold beer on warm evenings.
One slight hitch was the tight parking space, especially for larger vehicles. It took some maneuvering to get in and out, which could be a bit frustrating.

We stayed at a stunning villa in the heart of Walsingham, right next to a lovely pub with delicious food. the property had a unique layout with bedrooms downstairs and an open plan kitchen/dining/living room upstairs, which the kids loved. the garden seating area was a great sun trap and perfect for enjoying meals outside. the location was perfect, only a short walk to the village stores and a fantastic coffee shop. the nearby farm shop had excellent local products, and there were beautiful beaches just a short drive away.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes. 😊.

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the beautiful North Norfolk area and visiting nearby attractions like Thursford. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-decorated, with all the necessary amenities. The friendly and helpful host goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable, providing valuable local insights and even making reservations for you at nearby restaurants.
The second bedroom in the holiday cottage next door is quite small, making it uncomfortable for two adults.
